Kathleen Walker has never been far from a story or the desire to tell one. Her years in Mexico at the Universidad de Las Americas resulted in the novel A Crucifixion in Mexico. A decade in television news as a reporter and producer in New Mexico and Arizona led to the novel The Best in the West

Kathleen spent many years as a freelance writer for the renown Arizona Highways magazine. It provided her a literary passport into the history, the people and the incredible beauty of this spectacular state.

A longtime resident of Tucson, Arizona, her adventures while writing about the American Southwest fill the short stories of Life in a Cactus Garden and the essays of Desert Mornings - Coffee, Cactus & Chaos.

Kathleen's latest novel, The Daisy Farm, presents a geographical twist. She returns to her childhood roots in a story that takes place in the coastal towns of Darien and Rowayton, Connecticut. Within the pages, a loving family is faced with the power and impact places can have on people. Once again, another story to be told.
